Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 8, 2026

Effective Date: October 8, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Admix collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use admix.software, the Admix chat app and related services (the “Services”). It also explains the choices and rights you have.

Admix is operated by Alireza Bashiri, a sole proprietor trading as Admix.Software, based in Bangkok, Thailand (“Admix”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of your personal information, which means we decide how and why it is used. You can contact us about privacy at privacy@admix.software.

Please read this policy together with our Terms of Service.

2. Personal Information We Collect

  • Account information. Your name, email address and profile picture. We receive these from our sign-in provider, Kinde, when you sign in, for example with Google.
  • Your content. Your prompts, the responses AI models give you, and the files, images and voice recordings you add. If you turn on memory, we also store “memories”: facts the app picks out of your chats so it can personalize later answers.
  • Usage and billing information. Your plan, how much of your usage allowance you have used, and the status of your payments. Stripe handles your card details; we never receive your full card number.
  • Device and log information. Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and when you use the Services. We also work out your approximate location, such as your country or city, from your IP address.
  • How you found us. The website that referred you, the first page you landed on, campaign (UTM) tags and ad click IDs, such as those added by Google, Microsoft, Meta or TikTok ads. We keep these in a first-party cookie, admix_ft, for 180 days, save them to your account, and attach them to your Stripe customer record if you buy a plan.
  • Analytics. How you use the Services, such as the pages and features you use, collected by the analytics and session-recording tools described in Sections 4 and 5.
  • Messages and feedback. Support emails and other messages you send us, and feedback you give us, for example when you cancel a subscription.

3. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use personal information for the purposes below. If you are in the EEA or the UK, data protection law requires a legal basis for each use; we give it in brackets.

  • To provide the Services: create your account, run your chats on the models you choose, store your chat history, files and memories, and answer your support requests. (Performance of our contract with you.)
  • To take payments and keep records: process payments through Stripe, send receipts and billing notices, and keep billing and tax records. (Performance of our contract with you; legal obligation for tax and accounting records.)
  • To keep the Services secure and reliable: prevent fraud and abuse, apply rate limits, find and fix errors, and keep the Services running. (Our legitimate interests in protecting the Services and the people who use them.)
  • To understand and improve the Services: product analytics and session recordings. (Your consent where the law requires it: in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask first through our cookie banner. Elsewhere, our legitimate interests.)
  • To measure our marketing: learn which websites and campaigns bring people to Admix. (Our legitimate interests, or your consent where the law requires it.)
  • To comply with the law and enforce our Terms: respond to lawful requests and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. (Legal obligation; our legitimate interests.)

Training of AI models: We do not use your content to train AI models.

We may create aggregated, de-identified statistics, such as how many messages are sent each day, that don't identify you.

We use automated checks, such as rate limits and payment fraud screening, to protect the Services. If you think one has wrongly affected you, contact us and a person will review it.

4. How We Share Your Personal Information

We use the service providers below to run the Services. Each one handles personal information for the purpose listed.

  • Fly.io. Hosting. Our servers are in Singapore. All traffic to the Services passes through Fly.io, including your IP address.
  • Convex. Our database and backend. Stores your account, chats, files and usage records.
  • Kinde. Sign-in and accounts, including Google sign-in. Receives your name, email address and profile picture, and sends sign-in emails.
  • OpenRouter and AI model providers. OpenRouter passes your requests to the provider of the model you choose, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or another provider you pick. To generate responses, they receive your prompts, the conversation history, attachments, voice clips for transcription, and the text we use to create memories and chat titles.
  • Exa. Web search. Receives your search queries when you use search.
  • Stripe. Payments. Receives your email address, name, payment details and billing address, plus the analytics and attribution identifiers we attach to your customer record.
  • UploadThing. File storage for profile pictures, generated images and uploaded PDFs.
  • Upstash. Rate limiting. Receives a hashed version of your IP address and your user ID.
  • Resend. Sends our emails, such as receipts and billing notices. Receives your email address and name.
  • IPinfo. Looks up your approximate location from your IP address, to help prevent fraud.
  • Telegram. Carries internal alerts to the Admix team about sign-ups, payments and errors. Alerts can include your name, email address, approximate location and any feedback you give when you cancel.
  • Google Analytics 4. Usage analytics, using cookies. We also report purchases to it from our server. It identifies you by a pseudonymous user ID.
  • Microsoft Clarity. Session recordings and heatmaps that show how people use the Services.
  • Sentry. Error monitoring. When an error happens, Sentry receives details of the error and a recording of the session leading up to it, with text and media masked by default.
  • Google Tag Manager, Clicky and Crisp. On our marketing site only: tag management, visit statistics and live chat. Crisp receives what you type into the chat.
  • Open-Meteo. Weather data. Receives place names when you use the weather tool.
  • LinkMetadata, Microlink and Google's favicon service. Link previews. When you hover over a link in an answer, the link is sent to them to fetch a preview.
  • Google Fonts and jsDelivr. Serve fonts and other files to your browser, so they see your IP address.
  • Services you connect. If you connect an integration, such as Linear, Notion, Atlassian, Stripe, PayPal or Hugging Face, we send it the data you ask the assistant to send. Its own terms and privacy policy apply.

AI model providers. Providers process your content to generate responses, under their own terms. Some may keep it for a limited time to monitor for abuse. Chats you lock are only sent to providers that commit to zero data retention. Admix does not use your content to train AI models.

We may also share personal information:

  • with people you choose: if you create a share link for a chat, anyone with the link can see that chat until you stop sharing it;
  • with professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants;
  • when the law requires it, or when we believe in good faith that it is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Admix, our users or others; and
  • with a buyer or successor if the business is sold or transferred.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage. Some are needed for the Services to work. Others are for analytics and, where the law requires it, only run with your consent.

  • admix_csrf. Security: protects your requests against cross-site request forgery. Deleted when you close your browser.
  • id_token, access_token, refresh_token and user. Set by our sign-in system (Kinde) to keep you signed in. Up to 30 days.
  • admix_ft. Marketing attribution: records how you first found us (see Section 2). 180 days.
  • admix_landing_theme_variant and admix_landing_theme_source. Our marketing site only: remember whether the site shows you its light or dark theme. 1 year.
  • _ga and _ga_*. Google Analytics 4: usage analytics.
  • Microsoft Clarity cookies, such as _clck and _clsk. Session recordings and heatmaps.
  • Crisp and Clicky. These may set their own cookies on our marketing site, for live chat and visit statistics.

The app also keeps some data in your browser's local storage, such as your settings and a copy of your chat list so it loads faster.

If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, analytics cookies and session recordings wait until you agree through our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the site footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; if you block the sign-in cookies, you won't be able to sign in.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy:

  • Account information: for as long as your account exists.
  • Chats, files and memories: until you delete them or your account. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete this data within 30 days. Copies in our backups are deleted later, when those backups expire.
  • Billing and tax records: for as long as the law requires.
  • Server logs and security records: for a limited period.
  • Analytics data: according to our analytics providers' retention settings, for up to 14 months.

If we need to keep information longer, for example to deal with a legal claim, we keep only what we need for as long as we need it. When we no longer need personal information, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your Choices and Rights

In the app, you can delete individual chats, view and delete your memories, and turn memory off at any time.

To access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, or to close your account and have your data deleted, email privacy@admix.software. You can't delete your whole account from inside the app, so email us and we will do it for you. We may need to confirm your identity first. We aim to respond within one month.

You can unsubscribe from any marketing email we send using the link in it. We will still send you messages about your account and billing, such as receipts.

You can change your cookie choices at any time with “Cookie settings” in the site footer.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights. Sections 10 and 11 cover the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and California.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No way of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.

9. International Data Transfers

Our servers are in Singapore. Admix is operated from Thailand, and our service providers process data in the United States and in other countries where they operate. These countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country where you live. Where EU or UK law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK equivalent, for these transfers. Contact us to learn more.

10. Additional Information for the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, data protection law (such as the GDPR and the UK GDPR) gives you these rights:

  • Access: get a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and information about how we use it.
  • Correction: have inaccurate information corrected.
  • Deletion: have your information deleted where there is no good reason for us to keep it.
  • Portability: receive the information you gave us in a machine-readable format, or have it sent to another company where technically possible.
  • Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
  • Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your information in certain cases.
  • Withdrawing consent: where we rely on your consent, such as for analytics cookies, withdraw it at any time through “Cookie settings”. This doesn't affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.

Section 3 gives the legal basis for each use of your information, and Section 9 explains international transfers. To use your rights, email privacy@admix.software. We respond within one month, and we don't charge a fee unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example in the country where you live or work. In the EEA, the European Data Protection Board lists the national authorities. In the UK, contact the Information Commissioner's Office. In Switzerland, contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

11. California Residents

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to have it deleted; to have it corrected; and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. To use them, email privacy@admix.software. We may need to confirm your identity first. You can also authorize someone else to make a request for you.

Sections 2 to 4 describe the personal information we collect, where it comes from, why we use it and who we disclose it to. Section 6 explains how long we keep it. We do not sell personal information.

12. Children

The Services are not intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact privacy@admix.software and we will delete it.

13. Do Not Track

We don't currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect, and update the dates at the top of this page.
